Event Proposal:
CHXX CHAT LIVE Podcast and Ice Cream Social ft. Ilona Maher (hypothetical)
In a Planning the Event class for Regis University's Communication Department, I produced the following hypothetical event proposal. I prepared the proposal for Jaci Budreck, the founder and President of CHXX Who Lift. CHXX Who Lift is a women's empowerment weightlifting club based in Fort Worth, Texas. The alignment of the club's mission with my values allowed me to use my research on women's sports media to construct an event that helps women find community, strength, and empowerment through movement.
