Madeline Schallmoser

I'm Madeline. I like playing, watching, discussing, writing about and reading about sports. As a writer with a background in English and media studies, I understand the ways that language, text and media construct and influence reality. As a lifelong athlete, I am also a fervent advocate for women's sports as vehicles for empowerment and leadership for young women. Through my experience in sports, my endeavors in writing and my time as an athlete, I've developed the ability to curate powerful messages, and I believe that the stories we tell are our most important tools in building community through and beyond sport.
